10 METER BAND HWEF VERTICAL ANTENNA 49:1 impedance transformer 100 Watts

Antenna is a half wave antenna with Kevlar wire.

An impedance transformer (49:1) to feed a high impedance, end fed (unbalanced) random wire which is likely to be a few hundred ohms, and transform it into something closer to a 50Ω (unbalanced) coaxial input. 100 watts

This is a unun ( unbalanced to unbalanced ) transmission line transformer designed to match 2500Ω  to 50Ω .

 

Technical specification :
Wire is Kevlar 1.5mm which is lite and supple to use. The overall lenght of the wire is 5 metres so it is ideal to use with a small portable mast for field days.
